Here we have a fantastic Victorian era Carpet Bowls Glazed Ceramic Ball.  It measures over arouns 3 ½ inches diameter approximately.  It hard to get an exact measurement on a sphere, but I did include a picture with a measuring stick beside it to give you some context with regards to size.  This came from the estate auction of an elderly English lady who emigrated after WW2 to Canada.  She collected Victorian era items her whole life.  This one is solid and heavy.  Carpet Bowls was an indoor game similar to lawn bowling, that was popular in Scotland and England during the Victorian Era.  This one does have many chips, dings, and scuffs, but that is an indicator of its authenticity.  This one  was used and bashed off other balls during the many games it endured during its life time.  You can’t fake this kind of surface.  It comes from honest use and time. I have taken many close up pictures for you to be able to judge condition for yourself.  What you see in the pictures is what you get.  A great collectable and antique decorator item.
I am actually located in Canada just across the border.  I have a U.S.A. mailing address, and I mail my items from the USA to avoid border delays.
Due to my work schedule and distance to the post office I am only able to ship  Monday Mornings
