Hadrosaur vertebrae from the Kaiparowits Formation in southern Utah. This piece was acquired at the Ernst Shirley estate auction. For those who don't know Shirley he was a legendary collectors of dinosaur bones. He owned a rock shop in Hanksville Utah and collected many tons of dinosaur bone in the 1950s and 60s. This piece has great provenance behind it. There's not much material from the Kaiparowits Formation on the market. Here's your chance to own an uncommon piece of history.
