For sale is a real Spinosaur tooth.
Spinosaurus was perhaps the largest terrestrial carnivore to have ever existed (exceeding the size of T-Rex). It is estimated to have been almost 50 feet long.
Spinosaurus lived during the cretaceous period.
This tooth
originates from Egypt
.
·
The tooth itself measures about
2 - 2.25 inches long (5 to 5.7cm) long
and may differ slightly from what is pictured in the photos.
·
A tooth will be selected at random from the lot pictured and each purchase is for one tooth.
Spinosaurus holds the current world record for the largest carnivorous dinosaur category: full-grown, 10-ton adults out-weighed T-Rex by about a ton and Giganotosaurus by about half a ton (although paleontologists speculate that certain Giganotosaurus individuals may have had a slight edge). Since very few Spinosaurus specimens are extant, it's possible that other individuals may have been even larger, but pending further fossil discoveries, we can't be certain.
